August 23: Weekly Update

New Website Now Online

Our website has been completely redesigned with all the information you need for the upcoming Fall semester. It’s faster than ever before, easier to use, and ready for your mobile phones and tablets.

Signing up for events is quick and easy, and the latest ministry calendars are always available — view them online or subscribe to keep them handy all the time. We hope this helps you stay informed about what’s happening in the life of your church family!

Congratulations to…

Megan and Brad Litteken as they celebrate the birth of their daughter Clara Grace.

Stack the Chairs

Please help us prepare the Gymnatorium for the Fall Kick-off by stacking the chairs (seven high) after the second worship service today. Our building crew appreciates your help!

Cookies Needed for HH100 Rest Stop

We need hundreds of cookies, which we’ll serve alongside fruit and drinks at next
Saturday’s rest stop. This is an opportunity to serve thousands of cyclists in our community in the name of Jesus Christ.

Please bring your fresh-baked or storebought cookies to the church office by noon
on Thursday, and we’ll see that they are distributed to some very hungry folks!

Chapel Project Update

As is our custom, we are only committing to portions of the chapel project as the funds become available. We now lack just 3% of the total project cost, with about $200,000 in new giving needed to finish landscaping, stained glass, and other features.

Men’s Steak-out Report

More than a hundred guys showed up for dinner, clay shooting, dominoes, and fishing tips last Tuesday evening. Thanks to our generous host and everyone who came!
